How It Started

I picked up a hammer as a teenager and never put it down. Carpentry wasn't just a job—it was a way to solve problems with your hands, to see something imperfect become solid and right. I spent years learning on job sites, working through light commercial projects, watching how things should be done and how they often aren't.

Fourteen years ago, I started building custom homes in Helena. The decision wasn't about scaling fast or chasing every project. It was about controlling quality from the first conversation to the final walk-through. That's still what drives every decision we make.

Today, MWR Construction and Timber Ridge Homes is run on the same principle it started with: quality work, honestly delivered, by people who care about the outcome because we're locally owned and we live in the same community our clients do.
